I was born in Portsmouth, Virginia, to Caribbean parents and grew up in Ellenwood, Georgia. My home was full of music, art, culture, and family, and caring for others have always been a major aspect of my life. Iām earning my Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a minor in Cosmetic Science at Spelman College. My passion for dermatology comes from my own skincare journey and helping others feel confident in their skin. The threads of creativity, medical exposure, and family has shaped my path and my goals. I will become a dermatologist who represents and supports the Black community through service.
Highly organized, energetic, and diverse student with a passion for healthcare, with strong interests in dermatology and mental health. Actively seeking internships, scholarships, clinical hours, volunteering, and research opportunities. Known for being compassionate, dependable, and adaptable. A natural caretaker with excellent communication and leadership skills. I aspire to become a future dermatologist with my own private practice.
